How to Collect Your AKKA/LAA Royalties
Latvia's performing rights organization for songwriters and composers.
Latvian Authors Association AKKA/LAA is the performing rights organization (PRO) in Latvia. It licenses the public performance and broadcast of musical works and collects performance royalties for songwriters, composers, and music publishers when their music is played on radio and television, streamed, or performed in public across Latvia. Through reciprocal agreements with PROs worldwide, AKKA/LAA also collects on behalf of international writers whose works are used in Latvia.
